Surya Subedi, former United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Cambodia met with Politikoffee members at the Cambodia Center for Human Rights.

Mr. Surya Subedi shared his life experience with Politikoffee.

Cham Bunthet is a lecturer at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia and a member of Politikoffee’s “Club of Independent Analysts”

In this clip, there three most relevant angles: firstly, Mr. Bunthet argues that Cambodian politics lacks ‘debating’ culture; secondly, he explained how the Myanmar opposition leader established trust with the then junta government in power, and lastly he raised his personal example to show how we can suffer due to blind obedience, over rationality.
